Collection: Farm Scene

Farmhouses drawn and illustrated rather than photographed: pencil and charcoal studies, spare ink sketches, and soft washed colour illustrations of white clapboard houses, hillside tracks, barns and grain silos.

The pencil and charcoal pieces are the quiet end of the group, worked in hatching and rubbed grey with the sky often left as bare paper. The washed colour illustrations are brighter and simpler, usually one house, a few trees and a flat sky. The minimal ink set is the sparest of all, each house drawn on a single ground line with two thin bare trees and nothing else on the sheet.

Every piece is sold as a digital download and as a print: photo paper in Lustre, Deep Matte or Pearl; a Fine Art Print on Hahnemühle German Etching paper; a canvas gallery wrap; Polished Metal and Acrylic, each as a bare panel or on a float mount that is ready to hang; or Hand-Rubbed Maple. Size lists differ by print type, and the sizes offered are shown on each listing.
