Dark Academia

Candlelight on old paper, brass and dark glass, and rooms where the light only reaches one corner. Twenty-five pieces: still lifes of books, quills and globes; portraits held in near-black; and studio and library interiors with a single figure working late.

All of it is low-key by design — deep browns, bottle green, oxblood and old gold, with one light source doing the work.
